FAW Shandong Special Automobile Works is one of the most main bases that manufacture special vehicle and drive axle of middle and heavy-duty truck. It was founded in 1968 and became a subsidiary stock holding company of China FAW Group Corporation in 1994.It covers an area of 200,000 m2, in which the product building area is 76,000 m2. Its fixed assets is RMB??320 million and its turnover is RMB??1500 million in the year of 2002.

Its main special vehicles are more than 100 models of different categories such as semi-trailer, dump truck, van and environmental engineering vehicle.
