Shanghai Shenjia Ferroalloys Co. Ltd. in China is a joint-venture established in 1992 by Hongkong Shougang Concord Century Holdings Ltd. and shanghai Ferroalloys Works ( founded in 1958 ). It is one of the largest enterprises in the production of ferroalloys in China.
The joint-venture is located in Baoshan District of Shanghai. It is only about 2 kilometers away from Shanghai seaport, having direct railway line, and endowed with a convenient transportation and favorable geographical location for import and export trade. There are more than 20 furnaces in total, mostly electric furnaces, and other specialty equipment in the company, with total capability of annul output 200,000 tons. The company is mainly engaged in the production of Ferro-manganese, Ferro-silicon, Ferro-molybdenum, and Ferro-titanium etc. The products with brands of the "Three Golden Star", respectively won "Nation Silver Medal" and excellent quality certificate granted by Ministry of Metallurgy and by Shanghai Municipality. The company supply products mainly to steelworks, welding plants, casting works and other metallurgical industrial factories in China. Also, the company passed "GB/T 19002--ISO 9002: 1994"Standard Quality System Certification and obtained the certificate by China Committee of Certification Center for Quality Mark. Three series products covering 98% including chrome, manganese, silicon within 44 grades have obtained Certificate of Product Quality Certification. The company has rich experiences in the production of ferroalloys for 40 years, with good techniques in smelting process, among then, the processes of medium/low carbon ferrochrome from converter and medium/low carbon Ferro-manganese from external pre-refining technique awarded the second prize of "Nation Scientific Advance", And the enterprise has been awarded the title of "State-First-Class Metrological Unit", "State-Class Energy Saving Enterprise", "Advanced Technology Enterprise" in China.
