Guangxi Yuefeng Bioengineering Corporation Ltd. (Nanning ), a Sino-foreign joint venture by Yuefeng Farm in Fangchenggang City and Hong Kong Corporation Ltd under Pangu Group, is a high-tech entity specializing in the research and exploitation of enzyme products. Owning the largest planting base for papayas that yields 60,000 ton of papayas each year, the corporation now is one of the largest-scale producing enterprises in China, which can yield 20 ton of pure papain annually. The papain produced by the corporation attains the highest enzymatic activity ( 2,300,000 u/g ). This project has been placed on the agenda of the " Spark Plan " introduced by Ganglia Science and Technology Department and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Yuefeng Corporation, reckoning on scientific technology and advanced equipments as well as scientific management systems, breaks a new path of agriculture industrialization which combines " production, learning and research ".The corporation not only produce papain, but also extracts the ophylline, turtle sanguinin, and food nuclein with modern biochemical technology. Those bio-products are widely used in food industry, beverage, health drinks and pharmaceutical reagents. Meanwhile, the corporation is equipped with large-scale freezing and drying machinery, being able to process the high additional-value raw materials on the client's demands.
